DoubleTree by Hilton Copycat Recipes

DoubleTree by Hilton has welcomed arriving guests with a warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie since 1986 — the warm welcome cookie became a signature part of the brand's identity. Hilton kept the recipe secret for over 30 years before releasing it publicly in April 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown as a gesture of hospitality for travelers stuck at home. Within 48 hours, the DoubleTree cookie was one of the most-searched recipes on the internet. Each property bakes cookies fresh throughout the day; guests receive one warm, at roughly 75°F, at check-in. About 35 million cookies are given away globally each year across more than 600 DoubleTree properties. The signature recipe includes rolled oats for chew, a small amount of fresh lemon juice as a flavor brightener, Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chips, and a low 300°F bake temperature — the combination that distinguishes it from a standard chocolate chip cookie.
