Garlic Expressions Copycat Recipes

Garlic Expressions is the bottled garlic vinaigrette that started as the house dressing at Croy's Supper Club in Perrysburg, Ohio. Chef Larry Croy began selling it in styrofoam cups to guests who wanted to take it home; in 1993 he and his son formalized LarMar Foods and commercialized the recipe. The brand uses roughly 80,000 pounds of fresh garlic per year and is known for the whole garlic cloves visible through the bottle. The Classic Vinaigrette — apple cider vinegar, canola oil, cane sugar, fresh garlic, and spices — retails for about $4.99 a bottle at Giant, Martin's, Hannaford, and H-E-B.
