The Beatrice Inn Copycat Recipes

The Beatrice Inn was Angie Mar's West Village meat-focused restaurant at 285 West 12th Street. A Prohibition-era speakeasy and mid-century celebrity haunt, it was reborn in 2016 when Mar — Food & Wine Best New Chef 2017 — turned it into one of NYC's most celebrated carnivore destinations, famous for its dry-aged and smoked meats, including the orange-glazed rack of lamb tied to her 2019 cookbook Butcher and Beast. Mar closed the restaurant at the end of 2020.
