Restaurant Daniel is Daniel Boulud's Michelin-starred flagship at 60 East 65th Street in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, open since 1993. Boulud was born near Lyon — Paul Bocuse's home city — and trained in the French tradition of long braises, precise sauces, and market-driven technique. The restaurant held three Michelin stars at its peak and carries one in the current MICHELIN Guide; its tasting menu begins at $295 per person. The short ribs braised in red wine have been on the menu since the restaurant opened and have never left.
