Taquería El Califa de León Copycat Recipes

A 10-foot-wide taco stand in Mexico City's San Rafael neighborhood, open since 1968 and named after bullfighter Rodolfo Gaona. In May 2024, it became the first taco stand in history to receive a Michelin star — for its gaonera tacos: thinly sliced sirloin seared in lard with salt and fresh lime squeezed over the cooking meat.
