I Sodi is Rita Sodi's West Village Italian restaurant — opened 2008, since July 2023 at 314 Bleecker Street — serving Florentine and Sienese classics. Their signature dish, Lasagne al Sugo, is a 25-layer pillar of paper-thin egg pasta and slow-cooked beef ragù that critics call one of the lightest lasagnas in New York. Sodi and partner Jody Williams also run Via Carota and won the 2019 James Beard Award for Best Chef: New York City.
